Plans for solar farm near Carlisle set for approval
The ambitious development is being planned for four arable fields covering more than 28 acres near to Blackdyke Farm and Riding Centre at BLACKFORD, a few miles north of Carlisle.

John Collier, owner of Blackdyke Farm and Riding Centre at BLACKFORD, near Carlisle, has been granted permission to have a solar park installed on more than 28 acres of his land.

LACKFORD Estate Solar Park Ltd, of London, has been given permission by St Edmundsbury Borough Council, for the 39 hectare site on agricultural land at LACKFORD Estate.
