Initial research suggests that the site could generate enough green energy to power an estimated average 10,000 homes, just from the wind blowing naturally over the site.
This design will generate around 49.13 million units (kWh) of electricity every year which based upon the average household consumption of 4,152kWh/household provides for the equivalent of 11,800 homes per annum. This is a sizeable contribution to the renewable needs of the Shepway District
