 Comment

SSE, in partnership with the Port of Tilbury, has developed a four wind turbine project at Tilbury Port in Essex. The project consists of four 2.3MW turbines, giving an installed capacity of 9.2 MW.

Planning consent was obtained by the port in May 2008, prior to SSE taking ownership of the project and the main phase of construction began in September 2012.
Installation of the four turbines is now complete, with the remaining work on the project expected to be completed by the end of April.
