The proposed scheme will consist of four 2.5–3-MW turbines, each with a total maximum height of 125m. The wind farm is expected to produce enough power for 5500 homes, which equates to 13% of the wind energy target for the Kent region.
Planning permission was granted in March 2009. A number of technical studies have been undertaken and are ongoing. Procurement will commence during 2014 with construction planned in 2015.
