Nottingham Energy from Waste Facility. The energy from waste facility produces heat and power for local users by burning around 150,000 tonnes of waste from Nottingham and the county each year.
In August 2007, WRG submitted a new planning application for a third line at the Eastcroft Energy from Waste facility that would increase capacity from 150,000 to 250,000 tonnes a year.
