Solar power plants given the go ahead Read more at http://www.westernmorningnews Planning officers at Torridge District Council have approved plans for a 7.5 hectare (18.5acre) solar farm at GREAT KNOWLE Farm on Derriton Road in Pyworthy, and a second proposal at Eastacombe Farm, Clawton covering 8.3 hectares (20.5 acres).
Eaton Forges Ahead In Solar Power The largest of the new parks, at Chittering in Cambridgeshire, has an installed capacity of 5MWp. The other two parks, at GREAT KNOWLE Farm and Eastacombe Farm in Devon, have capacities of 2.5MWp and 3.5MWp respectively.
