This project, once completed was the first of its kind in Somerset. The utility scale solar park at Sandhill was constructed on 10 acres of land located near Bishops Lydeard in Somerset. This ground mounted system, made up of approximately 7,000 solar panels is capable of generating around 2MW of electricity which is enough to power 600 homes and offset 130 tonnes of CO2 annually.
