A community owned wind turbine, 150 shareholders 500kW turbine (55 shareholders 75 kW turbine), the 500kW turbine replaces an earlier vestas 75kW turbine that was non operational. The Turbine supplies power to "The Centre for Alternative Technology" with surplus being sold to the national Grid through Good Energy.
BDCR: Bro Dyfi Community Renewables Ltd was formed in 2001 to create opportunities for the local community to benefit more from the use of the wind and clean sources of power.
