When opened, the Black Law windfarm in Lanarkshire, was the the largest operating wind farm in the UK with 42 turbines.

The Black Law Windfarm currently consists of 42 turbines with a 97 MW capacity. It has been operational since July 2005 and plans to add a further 12 turbines (Black Law B) to the site are being progressed.
