Plans put forward for new solar farm near Congresbury Renewable energy firm UK Solar Assets has drawn up plans for a 1.3 megawatt solar energy farm on a 2.2-hectare site – more than 20,000 square metres – along the A370 at Pilhay Farm, WESTON Road in Hewish.
(2009) WESTON TURBINES – SAY NO NHDC Planning Control Committee voted unanimously to reject the application following a recommendation by the planning officer to refuse. Further documentation will be posted in due course. It is not known whether the applicant will appeal.
INRG wins permission for 16MW solar farm on former airbase site Aylesbury Vale District Council planners have given approval for the facility, which would extend to 35 hectares at the western end of TurWESTON Airfield near Brackley.
Solar Farm Proposal Clayhill Farm WESTONing The developer, a company called Axiom, set out plans to install a large (19 MW) solar farm covering 36 ha of farmland, which will generate electricity for the grid.
Concern over solar farm application The proposal for 36,000 solar panels to be built in a field at Woodforde Farm, WESTON Longville, has been submitted by British renewable energy company Esconrg. The full size of the development, including converter buildings, would be 19 hectares.
