 Comment

Constructed in 1992, it is capable of generating up to ten megawatts of cleaner greener energy.

On the 21st December 2009, ScottishPower Renewables submitted an application to repower Coal Clough Windfarm, which was consented in January 2013. This means that the existing 24 turbines will be removed and replaced with eight new ones, increasing the generating capacity of the windfarm from 9.6 megawatts to 16 megawatts.
