The site comprises over 35 acres of grade 3 agricultural land with part of the development on south facing slopes, visible from some parts of the town, but the majority sited on a plateau out of sight. The generator comprises over 22,000 first class solar modules, and is sufficient to power over 1,250 houses, or some 20% of Bodmin.
